PNWanderland Adventures

During the pandemic, everyone was stuck indoors and there was a great need to get out of the house. The only place available was the great outdoors. However, campsites book quickly, most weren’t even opened and the weather can be unpredictable, which can make it difficult for families with children. Thus, an idea was born to purchase and rent out trailers to visitors across the Pacific Northwest.

The client hired me to develop a logo design that encapsulates the idea of trailer camping in the Pacific Northwest day or night. The design research process involved looking at mountain ranges, topography lines as well as different kinds of trailers.

The client hired me to develop a logo design that encapsulates the idea of trailer camping in the Pacific Northwest day or night. The design research process involved looking at mountain ranges, topography lines as well as different kinds of trailers.

Eventually, I came up with the solution of starting with tire tracks, because their clients will come from different walks of life, while heading towards the road less travelled. With it came a vintage trailer against the mountainscape.
